    Questions?
    We’ve got the answers

    How much is it?
From £250 per tooth depending on how many teeth are being treated and how much improvement is required. Porcelain veneers cost £500 to £600 per tooth.
    How long does it last?
Two to seven years depending on how well you care for them.
    What is Composite Bonding?
A white Composite resin the dentist uses to fix fillings, chips, cracks or gaps.
    Does it damage your teeth?
Very little drilling is required to place them. However, they are not as strong as natural teeth or porcelain so you have to take care to avoid chipping or cracking them.
    Porcelain veneers or Composite bonding?
Composite bonding if the mouth is generally healthy and we want to make minimal damage with maximum effect. Veneers for people who have less healthy teeth or more discoloured teeth to begin with.
How white can we make them?
There is a bleached light shade and an even whiter extra bleach light shade for those desiring more glam!
Can you put composite veneers on Crown teeth?
Composite resin only bonds to tooth enamel. It doesn’t bond well to porcelain, so we do not add composite veneers to crowned teeth.
Is composite bonding good for crooked teeth?
It can help but best results are obtained from aligning your teeth with orthodontics before perfecting them with composite bonding.
What are the advantages of composite bonding?
    1) Composite bonding causes less damage to existing teeth than porcelain veneers as there is less drilling.
    2) If composite bonding chips it is economical to repair. Porcelain veneers generally need to be replaced if chipped or broken, at a cost of £500 to £600.
    3) Composite bonding is more economical for the patient.
    What are the disadvantages?
Composite fades sooner than porcelain and can become dull or stained within two to seven years depending on how well you care for them.
What’s the difference between composite bonding and composite veneers?
Composite veneers cover the whole surface of the tooth much like false fingernails. Composite bonding or ‘Edge’ bonding covers only part of the tooth.
